STAT100 - Statistical Modeling for the Sciences I

This is an introductory statistics unit. Through a variety of examples from the biological and life sciences, students will learn about exploratory data analysis, probability, random variables and inferential statistics. Statistical computing, using the R and Rcmdr statistical and graphical software packages, will form an integral part of the unit.
