Nature abhors perfection

Mathematical perfection to the human eye suggests smooth predictable lines as in a circle, straight line or smooth curve. Machines, buildings, hedges, orchards etc. work best under those principles. Nature however organises itself along principles of least work so plants colonize spaces, tree branches seek light, birds beaks may be unusual shape to be efficient at finding food and so on. What we observe in nature may appear irregular to human minds.
